Wednesday but not Wordless

This past week has been busy!

As well as my "normal" job, I've been sketching and swatching for some new patterns...all the while waiting, in eager anticipation, to find out if my first magazine submission will be accepted.  I managed to finish a book, "The Forest House" by Marion Zimmer Bradley, which I wasn't enjoying at first but then at around chapter 3, started enjoying it very much and felt deprived whenever I had to put it down.  Spent some time fixing the bathroom ceiling which needed a few minor repairs after using the wrong paint.  Helped Mr. Homesteader put in a new back door.  Lets see, what else...

Oh ya....been working on some secret knitting....

Enjoyed some home made luncheon meat....

Spend quality time with Dave....

And had a sad moment yesterday when I found this beautiful skunk that had died from what looks like getting stuck in some garden equipment and gave her/him a proper burial.  I had never been this close to one before, such a beautiful creature.

Hope you all are having a great week!
