Sourkraut

Mr. and I have wanted to make our own fermented vegetables for some time but we just hadn't gotten around to it.  Now with our new fermenting pot, we don't have any excuses.


So, we put on a batch yesterday...it's so easy and it already smells like something other than cabbage.  We can't wait until it's ready to eat!!!  We didn't know that there are many, many different recipes that include all sorts of vegetables and spices.  We are both looking forward to trying all kinds of combinations.
